If you already have a finished PDF and only need signatures, an e‑signature product is faster. Below we compare Bonsai, HoneyBook, PandaDoc, DocuSign, SignWell and Rocket Lawyer UK.Leer →GuíaBest NDA generators in the UK (2026)Short answer: if both sides still need to agree the words, use a two-sided NDA (that is our job). If you only need a starting Word or PDF file, a free template from Writford, AI Business Kit or the GOV.UK IPO examples is enough. Below we compare those tools with NDASafe, Vordex and Rocket Lawyer UK.Leer →GuíaBest AI contract generators for UK businesses and freelancers (2026)Short answer: if both sides still need to agree the words, use a two-sided contract room — that is our job. Spellbook and Genie AI help one side draft. Juro is CLM for in-house teams. ChatGPT can sketch text, but it is not a contract room and it does not sign. Below we compare those tools with PandaDoc AI.Leer →GuíaBest e-signature tools for UK small businesses (2026)Short answer: if the document is already agreed, an e-signature product collects names on that file. If you still need to agree the words, use a two-sided room first, then sign. Below we compare DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign, Dropbox Sign, PandaDoc, SignNow, Yousign and Zoho Sign with Contracts.io.Leer →GuíaWhat do I do when a client won't pay my freelance invoice (UK)?Chase the unpaid invoice in writing, then send a letter before action. For a business client you can add statutory interest at 8% above base rate plus a fixed fee. Give 14 days, or 30 if they are an individual. If they still do not pay, start a money claim — small claims in England and Wales go up to £10,000.Leer →GuíaClient using your work without paying? Your UK rights as a freelancerYou usually still own the copyright. Chase the invoice as a debt, and tell them to stop using the files until they pay or you agree a licence. Write the next contract so rights pass only on full payment.Leer →GuíaClient cancelled: can you keep the deposit? UK freelancer rulesThere is no default right to keep a deposit or charge a kill fee. It has to be in the contract. Business clients: the sum must not be a penalty. Consumers: a 14-day cancellation right can apply, and the term must be fair.Leer →GuíaIs a wedding videographer's deposit refundable in the UK?A couple who cancel a wedding film do not automatically get the booking fee back, and a videographer does not automatically keep it. The contract has to say what the money is, and a consumer term still has to be fair. This page is for videographers writing booking terms, and for couples reading them.Leer →GuíaWhich contract clauses put a UK freelancer inside or outside IR35? (2026 checklist)No clause, on its own, puts you inside or outside IR35. Medium and large private-sector clients, and all public authorities, decide status and must issue a Status Determination Statement. Small private-sector clients leave the decision with your company. HMRC looks at the contract and the working practices together.Leer →GuíaDoes a photographer have to hand over RAW files to a client in the UK?No, unless the contract makes RAW files a deliverable. You are the first owner of copyright in the photographs. Commissioning the shoot does not move that copyright. The client gets the edited files you agreed to deliver, on the licence or assignment you signed.Leer →GuíaHow do you write a contract? Most of a good contract is decided before anyone writes a word, and the writing is mostly about saying those decisions once, clearly.Leer →GuíaWhat goes in a freelance or contractor agreement?Freelance agreements, contractor agreements and consulting agreements are mostly the same document with different names, and the parts that matter are scope, payment and ownership.Leer →GuíaWhat is an NDA, and what do you negotiate in one?An NDA is a short contract about one thing, information, and almost everything worth negotiating sits in four definitions.Leer →GuíaYour client redlined your contract: what to doA redline is a proposed change, not a signed deal. Read each one, decide what you can live with, then reply on the same paper.Leer →

ArtículoCan I use ChatGPT to write a contract? You can use a general chatbot to get a first draft. The work is in checking the parts it cannot know: your scope, payment, ownership and the law that applies — and in agreeing the words with the other side.Leer →ArtículoWhat an indemnity clause actually movesAn indemnity is a promise to pay for a specific kind of loss, and the interesting part is always which losses, from whom, and up to how much.Leer →ArtículoForce majeure: what counts, what doesn'tForce majeure lets a side off the hook for events outside its control, but only for the events the clause names and only for as long as they last.Leer →ArtículoNet 30, net 14, on receipt: payment terms in plain wordsPayment terms are a number and a starting point, and most late-payment arguments are really about the starting point.Leer →ArtículoIs an electronic signature legally binding? In the places covered here, an e-signature is treated as a signature, and the exceptions are about formalities such as witnesses, not about the technology.Leer →ArtículoDeed or agreement: which one are you signing?A deed is a contract with extra formality, and in England and Wales the formality changes how it is signed and how long a claim can be brought.Leer →ArtículoWhat a statement of work adds to a services agreementA statement of work describes the job; the services agreement above it describes the relationship, and the two are kept apart so the job can change without reopening everything else.Leer →
