8 open roles · Remote · £90k–£150k
Help both sides agree.
We're building contracts.io: one contract both sides can read, counter and accept in plain English, now in ten languages. We're early and a small team, and we're hiring the people who'll help us scale it. Every role is fully remote, with pay stated on the role (£90k–£150k).
Why this, why now
Most contract tools are built for the person who sends. The person who receives gets a PDF, a deadline and a sign button. We think nobody should sign something they don't understand.
So we're building for both sides. One link. The other side can counter any clause, free, with no account. Plain English beside every clause, the same words for both. Every version kept.
AI made drafting almost free. Agreeing is still the hard part. That's the part we work on.
How we work
Pass the receiver test
Before anything ships we ask: would the person on the other side feel respected?
Say it plainly
In the product, in the code, in how we talk to each other. If it needs a glossary, rewrite it.
Own the whole thing
Small team, so everyone owns an area end to end, from the idea to how it feels in use.
Build in public
We share what we're making and what we learn, including what didn't work.

How to apply
Every role is remote and shows its pay. If you want one, review the platform, then write and tell us why you want it and how you'd help us scale. Don't see your role? Write to us anyway.
- 1Use the product firstSign up, draft a contract, send it to yourself, try Lex. Then tell us what you'd fix and why you want this.
- 2Email usA few lines on how you'd help us scale and what you'd particularly take on. Links to things you've built beat a CV.
- 3A call with the founderWe talk about the work and the role. Pay is already on the page.
- 4A small piece of real workPaid where it takes more than a couple of hours. Then we both decide.
